Artist-Faculty

Thomas Perazzoli, Flute
|
Thomas Perazzoli became Assistant Principal Flutist of the National Symphony Orchestra of
Washington D.C. in 1969. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he studied at the
Philadelphia Musical Academy with William Kincaid, the renowned solo Flutist of the
Philadelphia Orchestra. Other teachers include Clement Barone and John Krell.Prior to
joining the NSO, Mr. Perazzoli was a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic under John Krips
and Lukas Foss, and the Chautauqua Orchestra under Walter Hendl. Mr. Perazzoli has
performed as soloist with the NSO and performs recitals and chamber concerts. He currently
teaches at Catholic University and George Mason University of Virgina.
This is his fifth summer with AYO. |
