First time I have ever been to overseas was with AYO in 1992. I hardly spoke any English back then. AYO has opened up my horizon ever since. Now,I have made Hong Kong as my second home and working towards making bridges between people regardless of their nationality through music and media.
My love for Asian countries has deeply developed in my teenage though the beautiful experience with AYO.

The invitation email reminded me of the feeling when I was accepted by the Asian Youth Orchestra at my first attempt. I have been working in a professional orchestra (Hong Kong Sinfonietta) for many years, performing in two to three concerts each month, from ballet, opera, classical concerts to cross-media performance

AYO Faculty: 2016 ~ present I remember how honored I felt when I got the acceptance letter for Asian Youth Orchestra 24 years ago, I was then 15 years old. I haven't had much intensive orchestral training before that but have certainly heard of how the AYO is comprised with all the top students from all over Asia. My brother Otto, was selected to be part of AYO the year before.
